Devour is on a mission to make ordering food a convenient and rewarding experience for you while you play.

DevourGO needs a platform that allows Merchants to utilize an Admin Portal for menu management. This includes creating menus, items, and subcategories.

The design should facilitates unlimited subcategories and nesting, empowering merchants to control what customers see and order through the platform, akin to popular delivery services.

USER PERSONA

Merchants are not proficient in tech and are busy with their daily businesses. They do not want to spend extra time with menu settings and want something intuitive and with a low learning curve.

COMPETITOR ANALYSIS

The goal is to design something users understand and can satisfy both 80% of users (only needs 3 layers) and 20% of extreme problems (needs more than 5 layers)

  • How to balance the 80% and 20% users?

How might we help merchants manage (add/edit/change)subcategories and items for their menu in an efficient and easy-to- understand way?
